Arquette and Dillon star in this new Apple TV+ dark comedy.
Apple TV+ has streamed the official trailer for High Desertnew dark comedy starring Patricia Arquette e Matt Dillonwhich will make its debut on the platform on May 17th.
High Desert follows Peggy (Patricia Arquette), a drug addict who decides to start over after the death of her beloved mother, with whom she lived in the small town of Yucca Valley, California, and makes a decision that changes her life. Life: Becoming a Private Investigator.
In the cast, in addition to the protagonist duo, there are also Christine Taylor, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, Bernadette Peters, Rupert Friend and Keir O’Donnell. Directed by Emmy winner Jay Roach, created by Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford and Jennifer Hoppe and with Ben Stiller as executive producer, the series will consist of eight half-hour episodes.

The project reunites Stiller and Arquette after the two previously collaborated again on Apple TV+ in Split, and on Prime Video in Escape at Dannemora, not counting the comedy classic Amori e disastri (Flirting with Disaster); Stiller himself reunites with director and producer Roach following their work on the Meet the Parents trilogy.
