The new Warner Bros. Discovery continues with corporate repositioning: the HBO Max streaming platform changes its name and becomes simply Max. It starts on May 23 in the US.

Not exactly the place where parents would leave their children. Yet Warner Bros. Discovery has some of the best known, even animated, characters for the younger audience. No wonder this category never met its true potential with HBO Max. (…) HBO is not synonymous with TV. HBO is HBO. It must remain as it is. Here because we will enhance it with regard to individual productswithout forcing it into the broader scope of this new content proposal.”
Coinciding with the (re)launch of Max, a third will be available in the US from May 23, new type of subscriptiona Max Ultimate Ad Free for $20/month, finally open for resolution Ultra HD 4Kat the sound Dolby Atmos and up to 100 downloads for offline viewing. All Warner films, starting with those released in theaters this year, will be available in 4K on the platform.
