A new mixed reality TV commercial transports us to the world of Transformers: The Awakening together with Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal.
You can’t wait to see Transformers: The Awakening? Go to a basketball game, you might meet the famous Autobots… No joke: a hyper-realistic promotional spot of the film was presented during the NCAA Final Four, transporting viewers into the world of Transformers (or rather, transporting Optimus Prime from Optimus Primal in our).
A few hours ago the Transformers invaded our world…
“Optimus Prime and Primal awaken in this all-new Transformers: The Awakening promotional spot, mixing reality and fantasy during the 2023 NCAA Men’s Final Four on the CBS network” reads the caption of the video “Created in partnership with The Famous Group, the TV spot transported viewers from home to a basketball court in 1990s Brooklyn, recalling the film’s setting“.

“Transformers returns to the action and spectacular battles that captivated viewers around the world. Transformers: The Awakening will take us to the 90s, in an epic adventure around the world. In the eternal battle on earth between the Autobots and the Decepticons, a third generation of Transformers, the Maximals, will enter” reads the official synopsis of the film.
The long-awaited new chapter in the franchise, Transformers: The Awakening, will not be directed by Michael Bay, but by Steven Caple Jr., and will arrive in theaters in June. In the cast Anthony Ramos, Pete Davidson, Michelle Yeoh, Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage and Dominique Fishback.
