The title says it all. Although, to be precise, we are not talking about a real sofa here, but one of those large comfortable reclining chairs.
Killer Sofa is a 2019 New Zealand film that is about to be released in the USA in streaming su STREAMBOXand of which this amusing trailer was then released.
The director is called Bernardo Raoand seems to want to be inspired by the cinematographic deeds of the famous compatriot Peter Jacksonthe one who before signing the Trilogy of Lord of the Rings he had risen to fame thanks to a series of crazy and bloody low-budget but highly fictional horror films such as Out of mind e Meet the Feebles. Not by chance, or maybe yes, in the cast of Killer Sofa there is also Jed Brophyan actor who appeared in the trilogy of Lo Hobbit.
The story is that of a possessed poltroba who falls in love with a girl and who, therefore, begins to kill what she believes to be her competition in the flesh.

Francesca has always attracted the weirdos. When one of her stalkers is found dead, she seeks solace in her best friend, Maxi. Jack and his partner, a voodoo sorceress, try to find where the recliner was delivered, exploring Jack’s new gift for communicating with the other world.
