While Italian fans were able to immerse themselves again in the whirlwind of tragic and passionate events involving the doctors of Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, thanks to the recent and awaited publication of the seventh episode of the current season on Disney+, a new and certainly welcome news arrives in About ABC’s beloved medical drama: Grey’s Anatomy it was in fact officially renewed for a twentieth story arc.
Therefore, despite the confirmed departure of Dr. Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) and abandonment by Meredith herself (Ellen Pompeo) – which however will continue to act as a narrative voice – the TV series will continue its run.
The choice, most likely, was also made thanks to the numbers that the product continues to record, with an average of about 10.7 million viewers who tune in to every appointment live.
Along with this happy announcement, it was also announced that the executive producer Meg Marinis will serve as showrunner, after the role fell vacant following the resignation of Krista Vernoff.
