Grey’s Anatomy is one of the longest running and most loved series of tv series. Despite the many seasons (here we talk about which season is the best), the arrival and farewell of various characters, the series continues to be followed by fans all over the world, albeit with less enthusiasm than the initial seasons. The public has also begun to speculate how the series will end (you can read the saddest and most popular theory from fans here).
Grey’s Anatomy it has been on air since 2005 and boasts 19 seasons. While many think that with the departure of Ellen Pompeo, who has been leading the cast as Meredith Gray since the first season, the series should move towards closure, the star Kim Raverinterpreter of Teddy Altmanthink that Grey’s should go on because it still has so much to tell.
Kim Raver thinks Grey’s Anatomy can continue because its stories continue to evolve
In a recent interview with ET Online, Kim Raver he revealed that he wants the series to continue.
He wants to see the making of the 20th season, but not only: he thinks that Grey’s Anatomy it could go even further. He says:
“Oh, let’s continue! Everyone would like to do season number 20. I think there is something related to Grey’s Anatomy and the amazing way the show tells human stories and I think we can go on. We have all these new young trainees and there are many stories that can be told in relation to them and I like to see their stories and their characters in contrast to the old look. I think the longevity of the series can go on as the stories continue to evolve.”
Many viewers think that Grey’s Anatomy has gone too far and should close, but it is also true that with the arrival of new trainees and new patients there are still stories to tell. Passionate super fans will likely continue to watch the series no matter how long it runs.
In the interview, Kim Raver also talked about her character, Teddy Altman, who has taken over from Meredith Gray as director of Gray Sloan Memorial hospital. She says:
“I think it’s great. I know Teddy has made some bad choices in his life and the funny thing is some people ask me ‘Do you hate that Teddy made all those mistakes?’ And I say no, I love him. It means he’s flawed and she’s human and I think Shonda Rhimes and Krista Vernoff and Debbie Allen and everybody worked to make these characters real and human and flawed. And we now get to see Teddy evolve from past mistakes into this new and better version of herself. I love that we get to see Teddy evolve from her mistakes to become a hospital director.”
And what do you think? Grey’s Anatomy should it continue or stop?
