Filming of the fourth season of Mare Fuori will begin in May: here are the actors who will return to the set.
Sea Outside 4 it will, as fans of the series know. Shooting will begin in Naples next May, not all actors will return on set, for many of them the narrative cycle of the characters they play ended with the third season. Here’s who doesn’t come back and who stays.
The last two episodes of Mare Fuori 3 were aired yesterday on Rai 2, meanwhile the writers have already completed the script for the fourth season and the Navy of the Molo Beverello in Naples is ready to transform itself into the Juvenile Penalty Institute of Naples.
Not all the protagonists of the previous three seasons will return in the next one which should be broadcast in 2024. Filippo Ferrari, known as O’Chiattillo, has left the Neapolitan prison to be transferred to the homologous Milanese structure. Nicolas Maupas will be among the protagonists of La bella estate, the new film by Laura Luchetti.
Naditza, played by Valentina Romani, will also not be returning in the new season, having exited the IPM after serving her sentence. She is the actress in the cast of Bardot, a miniseries centered on the life of Brigitte Bardot.
Paola, the director of the structure played by Carolina Crescentini, also greeted the IPM boys, her place will be taken by Lucrezia Guidone. She, the actress, is part of the cast of Diabolik 3 and La Guerra del Tiburtino III.
Gemma entered the Neapolitan juvenile prison after shooting her abusive boyfriend. She too, played by Serena Codato, leaves the structure at the end of the season that has just ended.
Anna Ammirati in Mare Fuori is Liz Centola. The prison guard proves to be too empathic with the boys, as he demonstrates by hiding Edoardo. In the end she decides to leave her job saying goodbye to the prisoners and the Rai 2 audience.
Totò, the character of Antonio Orefice, is guilty of the murder of Nina, wife of Carmine. Despite repentance, the boy is transferred to Poggioreale. His character, however, could return in some episodes of the new season.
Nicola’s evolution in Season 3 should have ended with her return home. But Nicolò Galasso, from Abruzzo, who studied Neapolitan to play O pirocchio, says goodbye to the series in a dramatic way. Nicola is killed by Mimmo, just when he had decided to change his life.
Carmine’s return remains in doubt, in the cliffhanger of the third season Carmine and Rosa, having left the IPM for leave, meet, but Salvatore Ricci, the girl’s father, arrives on the spot. The scene ends with a gunshot fired by Rosa. The recipient of the bullet could be the character of Massimiliano Caiazzo. The actor, speaking about the fourth season with Icon Magazine, had said “I hope to be there. Obviously there are many question marks. I haven’t read anything yet”
In the cast we will see Rosa Ricci played by Maria Esposito, as confirmed by the director Ivan Silvestrini. Edoardo Conte will also return, played by Matteo Paolillo. After waking up in the hospital, the boy will finally have to choose whether to stay with his wife Carmela, Giovanna Sannino, or continue his relationship with Teresa, played by Ludovica Coscione.
