Even though we had a television season greenlit, Neil and I felt we couldn’t just create a season without thinking about what would happen next. There’s more The Last Of Us to comeand I think the balance is not just within an episode, or even from episode to episode, but from season to season. It is entirely possible that there will be many more infected later, probably of different types as well. But, within the episodes that we were focusing on, I think we mostly emphasized the power of relationships and trying to find meaning in moments of action. So, there may be less action than some viewers would like, because we simply couldn’t make sense of too much chaos. We were also concerned that it would be repetitive. After all you’re not playing it, you’re watching itand although many people enjoy watching gameplay, we need to be a little more focused and proactive when we broadcast it on TV”
