Winner of the Audience Award at the 24th Far East Film Fest, this film, director Lee Jang-hoon’s second work, arrives in Italian cinemas on March 23 with Academy Two.
Miracle is a korean comedy 2021 coming in Italian cinemas from March 23 with Academy Two after winning the prize audience at the 24th Far East Film Festivalthe event which is the European and world reference point for all that is popular Asian cinema.
Second work of the director Lee Jang-hoonwho had already impressed with his ability to evoke and manage feelings in his debut film, Be with You, Miracle mixes humor and a sweetly nostalgic tone, brushing and reworking melodrama – in the Korean sense of the genre – to tell a story set in the 1980s and inspired by real events: that of a student who lives in a remote mountain village trying to build a railway station on his own initiative, and the way to fulfill his great dream: to meet the President of South Korea.
