According to the latest updates, work is apparently starting on the third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which Paramount+ has not yet publicly announced.
The news comes from the co-creator and co-showrunner of the TV series Akiva Goldsmanwhich stated that filming has officially begun. She also implied that soon Paramount + should announce the release date of the second batch of episodes – whose filming wrapped in July.
Sequel to Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds chronicles the second five-year mission of Captain Christopher Pike aboard the USS Enterprise NCC-1701, prior to the command entrusted to James T. Kirk, and features Anson Mount (Christopher Pike), Ethan Peck (Spock) e Rebecca Roman (Una Chin-Riley) – first appeared in the classic series and in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery.
