The first image of Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor in the third season of Superman and Lois has been released on the net.

As previously announced, Michael Cudlitz leaves The Walking Dead to move into the world of DC comics. In fact, the actor will play the role of Lex Luthor in the third season of Superman and Lois, series registered CW. It recently ended up on the net first picture showing the look of the villains.
His version of Lex Luthor will appear in the third season of Superman and Lois, arriving on The CW on March 14th. The series is not set in the Arrowverse and therefore a recasting of the character was necessary. Michael Cudlitz enthusiastically commented on his entry into the series: “Damn! I can’t wait to be a part of this incredible cast”.

To lend their faces to the protagonists of Superman and Lois are Tyler Hoechlin in the role of Clark Kent / Superman, and Elizabeth Tulloch in those of Lois Lane. Following the exit of Jordan Elsass, Jonathan Kent will be played by Australian actor Michael Bishop. The series was created and written by The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns are executive producers.
Lex Luthor was previously played by Jon Cryer, who first appeared in Supergirl, in which he played the role for 20 episodes from 2019 to 2021. In addition to appearing in the series starring Melissa Benoist, the actor has taken part in the crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths, a choice that allowed him to star in an episode of Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
