Ellie Kemperbest known for her roles in The Office and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, will star in a new TV series tentatively titled Drop Off and adapting the British comedy Motherland.
According to official synopsis of the show, “Julia (Ellie Kemper) is a working mom who always has to make ends meet in pursuit of the perfect balance between work and children. With the help of new friends Calvin and Liz, Julia discovers that she may be able to balance work and parenthood, now and then. This is a comedy for anyone who has dropped off their kids at school, breathed a sigh of relief…and then realizes it’s Sunday.”.
Kemper will be the executive producer along with Sharon Horgan, Clelia Mountford, Stacy Greenberg, Kira Carstensen, Holly Walsh e Helen Serafinowicz.
