Giuliano Peparini has returned to talk about his experience as artistic director of the Serale di Amici. Interviewed by La Repubblica, the very good choreographer and dancer revealed some unprecedented backstory is dedicated words of great esteem and affection for the presenter Maria De Filippi:
Maria has always left me free. I was a very demanding and at times difficult artistic director. I’m a pain in the ass, I don’t show things first, I don’t know how she put up with me. I couldn’t stand myself anymore either. I’m a perfectionist and insecure. Friends? I would do it again tomorrow. Beyond the tiredness, Maria taught me to work with young people. There were 150 paintings per season, in the end I needed to recharge…
Maria is Maria, she is an incredible character who does everything with extreme passion. When I talk to her I read in her eyes that she does everything with love, not only for work but for the guys she works with. She is focused day and night on the students, she is a beautiful thing. She is present in every little thing, this is not seen on TV but it is.
