With the recent and sudden departure of the intrepid Kelly Severide, the Chicago Fire Department 51 now finds itself without a valid element, but the team’s spirits will soon be revived by the welcome visit of an old acquaintance.
In fact, the news was leaked that Jesse Spencer (Dr. House), historic interpreter of Matt Casey, will soon return to play the role in one of the next episodes of the current 11th season of Chicago Fire.
The actor had said goodbye to fans and the long-running TV series during the tenth story arc, in which his character left the team to head to Oregon to take care of the children of his late friend Andy Darden, while trying to maintain a long distance relationship with Sylvie (Kara Killmer).
He later appeared in the finale of the same chapter, just in time to attend Severide’s wedding (Taylor Kinney) with star (Miranda Rae May).
At the moment it has not yet been revealed why the firefighter will visit his old colleagues. To find out more, all that remains is to wait for the transmission of the aforementioned episode, scheduled for April 5th.
