The plot and the cast of Yellowjackets
Created by Ashley Lyle e Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets tells the story of a group of high school girls, also talented members of a soccer team, who survive a plane crash and end up in a remote and wild area of Ontario, Canada. The series follows their story in two time planes focusing on two moments of their lives: the accident, which forced them face to face with the wilderness for 19 months waiting for help, and 25 years after the same, while they live the life they have attempted to rebuild.
The actresses Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci e Tawny Cypress play adult versions of the former Yellowjackets while their teenage counterparts are played by Sophie Nelisse, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty e Jasmin Savoy Brown.
Yellowjackets 2: I misteri si infittiscono
The trailer – on the night of Just a Girl performed by Florence + the Machine – answers, in part, to some questions that had remained outstanding in the first season by revealing where Lottie is, in the present. We know from Misty that she is hospitalized in a psychiatric institution in Switzerland, but will reaching her be easy? In the past, we find the girls back in the woods performing strange and increasingly disturbing rituals (who is the girl who was hung from a pole carried on their shoulders by the others?).
The new additions to the cast
The clip also offers a look at the new additions to the cast Lauren Ambrose (Servant) as an adult Vanessa “Van” Palmer, a character played – in the teenage version – by Liv Hevson (Santa Clarita Diet), Elijah Wood as a city detective named Walter, and Simone Kessel (Obi-Wan Kenobi) as an adult Lottie.
