There is less and less until the theatrical release of Super Mario Bros. – The Movie . In fact, the film will be in Italy at the cinema from April 5th and, to kill time, Universal Pictures distributed the final trailer of the projectwhich offers an in-depth look at some characters – including Princess Peach – and reveals some plot dynamics.
Super Mario Bros. – The Movie – The final trailer teases some plot details
The final trailer of the animated film therefore shows, in more detail, the threat hanging over the protagonists and the Mushroom Kingdomconstituted by the perfidious Bowser and his bizarre army. The clip also reveals a major plot changealready anticipated, during a recent interview, by the directors of the project, Aaron Horvath e Michael Jelenic. To be in dangerin this innovative transposition, it is not Indeed Princess Peach – often saved, in the video game, by Mario – ma the little plumber’s brother, Luigi – kidnapped by Bowser himself. Peach then it becomes one strong and independent leaderable to lead his kingdom to victory. The trailer also contains many action scenes, including the famous go-kart races of Mario and his friends.
To give life to this colorful and daring adventure is a group of all-star voice actorscomposed of Chris Pratt (Mario), Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), Charlie Day (Louis), Seth Rogen (Donkey Kong), Jack Black (Bowser), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), Fred Armisen (Cranky Kong), Kevin Michael Richardson (Kamek) and Sebastian Maniscalco (Spike). In the Italian version it is instead the protagonist who lends his voice Claudius Santamariaformer voice actor of some animated films, including The monster of the seas e The LEGO Movie and sequels – where he “plays” Batman. Some fans, however, found the dub of Chris Pratt little in line with the character of Mario, who expresses himself with a strong Italian accent. Directed, as mentioned, by Aaron Horvath e Michael Jelenic, Super Mario Bros. – The Movie is based on a screenplay written by Matthew Fogel (Minions 2 – How Gru becomes very evil). The project is then produced by an exceptional team, made up of Universl Pictures, Nintendo e Illumination Entertainmentthe production company that launched franchises that have become cult animation – Despicable Me and spin-offs about Minions, Sing, Pets. Appointment therefore at April 5thto immerse ourselves in the chaotic world of Mario.
