Travelers, backpackers and ready to leave for a new sparkling edition of Beijing Express, to discover India, Malaysian Borneo and Cambodia. At the helm of this ship of crazy travelers are there Enzo Miccio and Costantino Della Gherardesca, the odd couple who after the success of the last edition are back in crazy shape.
This year’s cast consists of The Lawyers (Alessandra Demichelis and Lara Picardi); The Hypochondriacs (Dario and Caterina Vergassola); The Educated (Maria Rosa Petolicchio and Andrea Di Piero); Italian Americans (Joe Bastianich and Andrea Belfiore); The Newly Weds (Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta); The Sicilians (Salvatore Schillaci and Barbara Lombardo); The Activists (Giorgia Soleri and Federica Fabrizio); The Mediterraneans (Carolina Stramare and Barbara Prezia) e Mother and son (Martina Colombari and Achille Costacurta).
Also this year, after the usual feast of Scoreboards with the twelfth edition of MasterChef, the crazy Scoreboards of Beijing Express are back, so let’s not waste time and let’s go straight to the votes.
Lawyers – Grade 4

Today’s society has more important things to think about than gender equality, we’ll think about it the day when a woman can become pope, because actually the biggest problem is the religious hierarchy and not the social hierarchy. Anyway
Avvocati don’t worry too much about gender endings, also because they want to make the public understand from home that in life you can be beautiful, be a lawyer and not know the date of the‘Unification of Italy (right Alexandra?).
In any case, it will be the absence of stiletto heels, but the lawyers run a lot, something tells me that they will be the new ones Italy – Brazil this year. We will see.
The Hypochondriacs – Grade 8

Let’s go from one of the most successful couples of this episode to one that came close to elimination with a finger (or should I say with a defibrillator). Diego Vergassola’s age has overshadowed Chiara Vergassola’s age, on the other hand the comedian’s daughter seems to have inherited her inner old age from her father.
We joke, the father and daughter pair reminds me a bit of the wonderful relationship I have with my father, if only one of them were famous we could embark on the Beijing Express adventure without problems. I would certainly seek advice from Gli Ipocondriaci on medicine to take with us, you never know.
The Educated – Vote 10

I think I already have my protégés for this edition. Andrea and Maria Rosa are making us dream with their popular sayings, the orange flag and Andrea’s elegance. I really seem to see one unsuccessful school trip with the teacher trying to console the car sick boy on the bus.
On the other hand, Indian cuisine is full of surprises, but the leaf on fire no one really expected it (except the Newlyweds who seemed intent on having a normal aperitif on the Navigli).
Protect Mary Rose and Andrew.
Italian Americans – Grade 8

Joe and Andrea are everything we needed. At the time of the leaf on fire I thought Joe was coming up with one of his “do you want me to die?” throwing plates around the Indian streetsinstead he limited himself to nipping the dish in a confessional.
After a tragicomic departure, the Italian-American duo launches into a sensational comeback that makes them even reach the immunity proofwhere they are brutally betrayed by a cow with make up. That’s life my friend.
The Newlyweds – Vote 10

I have to say that the Indian wedding moment was one of my favorite moments of this first installment. If we add to this the sprint of Federica Pellegrini who surpasses the Italian Americans dragging a cow with make up… well I don’t think I need to say more.
At this point I think I really need an episode where Dario Vergassola challenges Federica Pellegrini in a swimming competition in the Ganges, and then beats her. I beg you.
The Sicilies – Vote 8

I don’t know why in this world there are people who have decided to invest money in a TV series about the life of Ferragnez, when there are couples like Totò Schillaci and Barbara Lombardo. I really need a documentary about these two wonderful Sicilians, so much so that for a moment I didn’t know if I was watching the new film by Ficarra and Picone around India, or if Toto and Barbara they have an unexpressed potential that only my sick mind can understand.
Stay Tuned.
The Activists – Vote 6

After a dissing with the Italian Americans, the Activists were hit by bad luck and arrived last at the stage.
Seeing them among the worst with the faces of beaten dogs made me think back to my Criminal Procedure exam, when I begged the assistant not to send me home again, and to get me safely to the next stage. The Mediterraneans they’ve been more forgiving than the assistants I’ve met along the way, but that’s another story.
That said, I very much hope that if there is a pair swap episode one of the Activists will end up with one of the Lawyers. When in doubt, I start preparing Pop Corn.
Mother and Son – Grade 7

Mom and Son manage to grab immunity and one indian spa. Congratulations to the group formed by Corinna Negri e Timothée Chalametah no sorry, to the group made up of gIANMARIA and Madame… ah no?! Alright
In life I wish you everything except to find one Martina Colombari in the middle of the road that takes your car hostage asking you for a ride and stealing biscuits and chips from the hood of the car. It gives.
The Mediterraneans – Grade 9

The Mediterraneans took a while to understand the game. While The Newly Weds they set off on foot so as not to waste time, they were moved on the side of the road because a guy had told them that perhaps he could take them to their destination. That is, he had promised him without having a car or someone to drive the car. As a result, the young Mediterraneans trusted them as if they were on holiday with no crazy times to meet.
It must have been the fact of finishing last that spurred them on, but they became the protagonists of one of the most sensational comebacks of Beijing Express. On the other hand what matters is finishing first, all the rest is Ram Lal.
