Marc Guggenheim, one of the creators of the Arrowverse, has decided to clarify the situation after his great outburst towards James Gunn.
The recent statements of Marc Guggenheimco-creator of theArrowverseconcerning the little consideration given to it by James Gunn in the new plans for the future of DC Universe, have inspired quite a few controversies, a situation that prompted him to want to clarify things. His previous claims were published in his Legal Dispatch newsletter and, apparently, the goal was not just to complain, but to open a real discussion on the brutal nature of the television industry.
After a lot of misunderstandings, also caused by the continuous decontextualizing what he had said, Marc Guggenheim returned to clarify his previous statements regarding the work done with the Arrowverse and James Gunn: “While the fact that there is no such thing as bad publicity is considered an axiom, the problem here is that the (media) coverage has focused on the claim that ‘I wasted my time’ with the Arrowverse, leaving aside I was only talking about my career”Guggenheim said (via ComicBook). “They also managed to leave out the fact that I’m deeply grateful for the fan engagement over the years. Ah well. Never let facts get in the way of a good story (or clickbait headlines), I guess. My only regret is that articles like these give help and comfort to the small contingent of trolls in the Arrowverse. (As if Mr. Gunn cares about their objections to romances or character deaths)“.
Too Dead To Die, Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim will adapt the graphic novel for Universal
The reaction of the co-creator of the Arrowverse is more than legitimate, especially towards those who have not had any qualms about extrapolating the things he said, without contextualizing them. A question arises: how did James Gunn react to this whole story?
