A wheel becomes a dial, in the definitive Italian title of Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny: the release date in Italy of the fifth chapter of the adventures of prof. Jones.

As you recall, that “dial” in the original title Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny had previously been translated for our market as “wheel“. The new translation, now definitive, is more precise and more faithful to the English term. For the occasion, Disney has released a new Italian dubbed version of the last commercial.

The intention of the director James Mangoldwho inherited this film from Steven Spielberg (remained as producer), is to drop the prof. Jones by Harrison Ford in an era where black and white give way to gray. In Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny our heroic archaeologist is resigned to a life of study and sedentary, while the world around him celebrates the1969 moon landing. However, it falls into his life Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), of which he had been godfather years ago, to put him in front of a mystery which cannot leave him indifferent: in fact it has to do with his heroic deeds against the Nazis in the the Fortiesfrom which one of the current ones also comes scientists working at NASAJuergen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), an old acquaintance of his. Voller is a new man? Or do Nazis stay Nazis forever? Adventure calls, one last time again.
Indiana Jones and the Quadrant of Destiny will see a prologue of about twenty minutes set in the forties, where Indy is played by Ford himself or by his stunt doubles, transformed into the young Harrison by Industrial Light & Magic. The fulcrum of the story, scripted by Mangold himself with Jez & John-Henry Butterworth, however takes place at the late sixties.
