The grandparents of Amici’s dancer reveal: “A deeply gifted girl from an intellectual point of view”.
Very close to the first episode of Evening of the twenty-second edition of Amicithat will go broadcast on 18 March 2023 in prime time on Canale 5. Among the boys in the race who have not yet obtained the coveted jersey there is also the ballerina Megan Ria.
Megan Ria’s past
Megan Ria is one of the most beloved protagonists of Amici 22, but his past has not been very easy. To reveal some unpublished background on his childhood were the grandparents of dancer by Emanuel Lo who, interviewed by the weekly Di Più, declared:
Megan is like a daughter. Since she was born she has spent the summers with us, we have contributed to her growth. Do you know that our niece made her debut on TV with Paolo Bonolis at the age of five? You participated in an episode of Who Framed Peter Pan. If it’s true of the story of poverty and that our son was against her dancing? What I can tell you is that my son and his wife enrolled Megan in ballet when she was three. But then her parents separated. The girl was six years old…

It’s not that my son is against dancing, it’s just that he’s also always seen a deeply intellectually gifted girl in our granddaughter. She wanted him to continue his studies in high school, but in the third year she dropped out to study dance more seriously. Unfortunately we do not know the reasons that led our son to separate from his wife. I guess for Megan’s mom, who we’ve always loved very much, life hasn’t been easy. But we have always been there, as grandparents, as a family. And honestly my son too. Then of course, money is never enough these days.
