After Star Trek: Picard, Paramount+ also announces the conclusion of the TV series from which it all started again.

Star Trek: Discovery, season 5 and then…
The Swan Song of Star Trek: Discovery will see Captain Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and the crew of the USS Discovery unravel a mystery that takes them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. But they won’t be the only ones looking for it. So will dangerous enemies who will desperately try to claim it for themselves, and will stop at nothing to get it. Alongside the faces we already know, in the fifth and final season we will meet for the first time Callum Keith Rennie (The Umbrella Academy) as Rayner, a gruff and intelligent Starfleet captain who keeps a clear line between himself and the crew; Eve Harlow (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) of Moll, a former courier turned outlaw with an impressive strategic mind and sharp wit; And Elias Toufexis (Shadowhunters) by L’ak, impulsive and fiercely protective of his partner Moll.
The conclusion of Star Trek: Discovery (e you Star Trek: Picard, whose third and final season is currently streaming every Friday on Prime Video and Paramount+) doesn’t leave the franchise without a story. The spin-off will continue with a second season Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The animated series will also return Star Trek: Lower Decks e Star Trek: Prodigy, with a fourth and second season, respectively.
