Men and Women, Ivan di Stefano: “Tina Cipollari? I would have liked to know her better”
The iconic vamp was immediately struck by the rider but it was a flash in the pan. After the turnaround ofpundit, Ivan wanted to tell his point of view on this hit and run meeting:
“I was surprised and flattered by Tina’s attentions. There was no refusal. Actually there was nothing between me and Tina, I paid her a compliment, I brought her tea. We exchanged numbers and we agreed to have dinner together or have an aperitif. We also spoke. I wrote to her, she said she never received anything. I thought she didn’t like going out with me, that’s why I didn’t cancel the appointment with Desdemona.”
“I was disappointed. But because I couldn’t make her understand what I meant. We never met and we weren’t able to understand if there were the conditions for a more in-depth acquaintance. I know her as a commentator: a nice woman, direct, sunny, but as millions of viewers know her. She seems to me a sensitive woman, with a big heart. I would have liked to know her better..”
Speaking of love, the handsome 48-year-old born in Switzerland but of Sicilian origins said:
“I found him at twenty-three. She is the mother of my children. A wonderful wife, a perfect mother. I wouldn’t be the man I am if it weren’t for her. Sadly, love is over, after twenty years of marriage, but we have remained on excellent terms. We love each other, we respect each other. I take the opportunity to say that wars after these very long relationships have no sense”
