In view of the fiftieth anniversary of the theatrical release of Mel Brooks’ film, Frankenstein Junior returns to cinemas from February 27 to March 1.
For all fans of Doctor Frederick Frankenstein, descendant of the famous Baron Victor, the comic masterpiece of Mel Brookswith the unforgettable dubbing of Oreste Lionello, returns to the multiplexes of the UCI Circuit from today, 27 February 2023, to 1 March with the Frankenstein Junior Night at the cinema: three nights of celebrations in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the film released in 1974.
UCI has decided to create a special tribute dedicated to all the spectators who will choose the halls of the Circuit to witness the great return of this much-loved timeless cult: a monstrous surprise to be picked up directly at the cinema.
This is a splendid opportunity to better appreciate Frankenstein Junior, in this restored digitized version distributed by Nexo Digital, taking advantage of the immersive and quality cinematic experience offered by the Circuit.
The idea is to give the memory of a beautiful evening in the company of the brilliant Gene Wilder in the role of Doctor Frankenstein, the extraordinary hunchback Igor made immortal by Marty Feldman, the terrible and unmentionable Fraü Blucher played by Cloris Leachman, the creature – monster staged by the immense Peter Boyle, and by Madeline Kahn in Elizabeth. The Frankenstein Junior Night at the Cinema will be screened from February 27th to March 1st in all the multiplexes of the Circuit.
