The White Lotus, the HBO dark comedy, won an award at the 2023 SAG Awards. Here are the other winners
The White Lotus continues to grind hits after hits: this time, the dark comedy created by Mike White for HBO won an accolade SAG Awards 2023especially the best cast award in a drama series. The 29th edition of the Screen Actors Guild Awards, an association made up of a large part of American actors, was held last night at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. At the ceremony of awarding these prestigious awards in the world of television and cinema (ranked below only the Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTAs and Emmys) some of the biggest artists in the industry attended, including Zendaya (star of Euphoria), Jenna Ortega (star of the Netflix series Wednesday), Austin Butler (Elvis) e Audrey Plaza (The White Lotus). Is exactly The White Lotus won the statuette (nicknamed “The Actor”) for the best cast in a drama and for the best actress in a drama (assigned to Jennifer Coolidge).
