The Ferragnez 2 it is still in production and yet it has been overwhelmed by dozens of controversies. It happens when the two protagonists, Fedez e Clare Ferragniare two very popular characters, who inevitably divide the public with their behavior. The Amazon Prime Video series chronicles their love, family and work lives and is expected to return to the Prime Video streaming platform this year, in 2023, with the second season. Initially the airing of the series was scheduled for the month of May this year, but according to well-informed people it will be postponed to September because the couple in this period have asked to stop filming for a few weeks. If the first season of The Ferragnez had shown behind the scenes of Fedez’s first participation as an artist in the competition, the new episodes will recount Chiara Ferragni’s experience as host of the Festival. And with everything that happened on stage, the Amazon Prime Video biographical documentary dedicated to the most followed couple in Italy will have plenty of material to show us.
But the docuseries The Ferragnez 2 will he be able to show the footage taken during the Sanremo Festival, which should be owned by Rai?
After that The messenger and many other newspapers reported the indiscretion, the controversy broke out. David May revealed that the Rai correspondents would have been prevented by contract from entering the Ariston for the classic behind-the-scenes filming, because Rai would have exclusively sold the behind the scenes of the Sanremo Festival to Prime Video and to the company that produces the docuseries. The company has decided to intervene to deny this fact and to clarify the truth, which has been distorted by various false and biased journalistic reconstructions. Here is what we read in the official press release published a few hours ago:
The images shot inside the Ariston theatre, including the backstage, belong exclusively to Rai and any commercial use envisages their purchase through the subsidiary Rai Com. With regard to news that has appeared in the press in recent days, it should therefore be noted that the Banijay troupe engaged in following Chiara Ferragni for the series “The Ferragnez 2 ” was present inside the Ariston theater in Sanremo during the rehearsals of the presenter on stage (on February 2, 3 and 5) and instead during the live broadcasts (on 7 and 11 February) it was always positioned outside Chiara Ferragni’s dressing room without ever stopping in the backstage of the theater. Even the images shot by Banijay’s crew for the documentary “The Ferragnez 2” will therefore find commercial value through RaiCom. The journalistic reconstructions in question were therefore devoid of any foundation.
The crew of The Ferragnez 2 he was unable to shoot any exclusive images in the backstage of the Sanremo Festival at the Ariston theater. Insiders of the docuseries had access only to Chiara Ferragni’s rehearsals on stage on 2, 3 and 5 February. During the broadcast evenings of the Festival, Banijay’s troupe always remained outside the influencer’s dressing room. If the documentary The Ferragnez 2 will choose to show behind the scenes of Sanremo, these images will therefore find commercial value through RaiCom. A necessary clarification that we hope will appease the controversy.
