About My Father: la trama e il cast
About My Fatherwritten by Sebastian Maniscalco and directed by Laura Terruso, a fine group of Italian-Americans, is loosely autobiographical. This is the official plot of the comedy, which judging by the trailer looks very funny (poor peacocks!):
The film centers on Sebastian, who is encouraged by his girlfriend (Leslie Bibb) to take his father, an Italian immigrant hairdresser, Salvo, with him for the 4th of July weekend to visit his super-rich and outrageously eccentric family (Kim Cattrall, Anders Holm, Brett Dier, David Rash). The weekend turns into what can be described as a “culture clash” as Sebastian and Salvo discover that the great thing about family is that family is everything.
