Netflix’s beloved TV series, Sex Education, has lost another major cast member for its fifth season. Emma Mackeywho plays Maeve, recently revealed that she said goodbye to her character and that he has no plans to return for the next batch of episodes.
“Season 5? I just finished working on the fourth last week”he has declared Mackey. “No, I don’t think I’ll be in Season 5. I already said goodbye to Maeve”.
The announcement of Mackey comes just over a week after the star Dear friend (face of the 15th Doctor in Doctor Who) posted his message saying goodbye to his character, Eric:
“Last day. Last time. Hi guys, thanks for all the lessons and all the strength”he wrote Cast away in a caption of an Instagram post.
Sex Education wrapped production on its fourth season last week, and it’s not yet known when the new episodes will debut on Netflix.
