David Harbor told what happened behind the scenes of We Have a Ghost, the new comedy coming to Netflix that sees him star alongside Jennifer Coolidge and Anthony Mackie.

The scene described by the actor involved his character strangling Coolidge’s. But according to Harbour, the actress wasn’t overly pleased with her performance. “She was really pissed” in fact the actor said and then quoted Coolidge’s words when filming was interrupted: “‘You must really strangle me. You have to strangle me‘”.
“Jen, I am not killing one of America’s most beloved actresses“, this is David Harbor’s answer, which did not, however, calm the actress who continued to urge him to “do more” in that particular scene.

The actor then recalled other moments he spent on set with Jennifer Coolidge who was “amazing and very funny“. Of a further scene, in which Harbor had to scare Coolidge into screaming and jumping from a window, there were “15 roundsand into each of them the actress put something new and different. A moment described by Harbor as “a real acting lesson“.
In the new Netflix film, which sees the two actors together on the screen, a family will discover that the house they have moved into is haunted by a ghost named Ernest. In the cast together with David Harbor and Jennifer Coolidge, Anthony Mackie, Steve Coulter, Niles Fitch and Tig Notaro.
