When is Carnival Row 2 coming out? From 17 February 2023
Carnival Row 2 has arrived, but it will also be the last season. Prime Video announced on Monday, February 7, 2022 that the final season of Amazon Studios and Legendary Television’s Original fantasy-drama series starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, will be available from 17 February 2023. The ten episodes of the final season will be released weekly – with two episodes a week – exclusively on Prime Video every Friday.
The first clue about the release of the new episodes came more than two years ago from social networks. “We know you’ll want more. This story is only just beginning. #CarnivalRow season 2 is coming” read the tweet posted on Twitter from the verified account of the series (@CarnivalRow) just Saturday July 27, 2019.
The start of shooting of the second was announced with a video posted on Monday November 11, 2019 from the official @CarnivalRow Twitter account. The actors of the series Cara Delevingne, Orlando Bloom, David Gyasi e Tamzin Merchant have confirmed that season 2 of Carnival Row has already gone into production in Prague, Czech Republic.
Filming of the second season was stopped in March 2020 due to theCovid-19 health emergency. As stated by Orlando Bloom in an interview with Colliderwere missing three weeks after shooting of the second season when the set was forced to close due to the onset of the pandemic.

Filming then resumed in May 2021 in the Czech Republic to film some scene con Orlando Bloom which had not previously been possible to shoot because the actor was not available because he was dedicating himself to his family (he had a daughter with the singer Katy Perry in August 2020).

With a tweet from the official account of the series it was announced that theand shooting of Carnival Row 2 ended in September 2021. Also included in the tweet are some behind-the-scenes photos from the new episodes. Beyond Prague and at Barrandov Studios, filming took place at Liberec and al Sychrov castlea Doksany, Nelahozeves, Tousen and Libochovice.

By the time the Season 2 episodes debut on Prime Video they will have passed more than three and a half years since the debut of the series. Carnival Row 2 season was officially confirmed on Saturday 27 July 2019 at the press meeting with Amazon Studios organized on the occasion of the American Television Critics Association summer press tour.

In a fantasy world where humans and creatures collide, the second season of Carnival Row picks up with former Inspector Rycroft Philostrate aka Philo (Orlando Bloom) as he investigates a series of grisly murders that fuel social tensions. Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne) and the Black Ravens plot revenge for the unjust oppression inflicted by the human leaders of The Burgue, Jonah Breakspear (Arty Froushan) and Sophie Longerbane (Caroline Ford).

To the main cast of the second season of Carnival Row joins Jay Ali. The character played by Ali is a regular for season 2 and is called Kainea Faerie allied with the criminal gang Black Ravenalongside Vignette (Cara Delevingne).
Season 2 is a reunion for Jay Ali and new showrunner Erik Olenson, who previously worked together on Daredevil. In the Marvel Netflix series, Ali played Ray Nadeem.

Amazon has confirmed they are ten episodes that make up the second season of Carnival Rowit’s about two episodes more than the first.
For season 2 the showrunner is Erik Olesonalready at the helm of Daredevil for Netflix. Oleson, who signed a multi-year deal with Amazon in March 2019, takes over Marc Guggenheim who served as showrunner for season 1 but will remain involved as an executive producer.

Travis Beachamauthor of the script subject which was the source of inspiration for the series, is no longer involved in Carnival Row starting with season 2. Beacham is co-creator along with Rene Echevarria, who was the original showrunner of the series. Of season 2 of Carnival RowCara Delevingne will also be executive producer.

The eight-episode first season is directed by Jon Amiel and was filmed in the Czech Republic (among the locations also Prague) between October 2017 and March 2018.
