Record ratings for Mare Fuori 3 on RaiPlay
Sea Out 4, the phenomenon series by Rai will return with a fourth season and filming will begin in the coming months. Confirmation had already come last year from Maria Pia Ammirati – manager of Rai Fiction – following the excellent critical and ratings results obtained from the second season. The third has broken every record of the RaiPlay platform. In the first 24 hours of permanence in the Rai streaming service catalogue, the last six episodes of the third season reached the milestone of 12 million views for a total of 5.7 million hours viewed.
The popularity of Sea Out – also celebrated by the presence of the young cast of the series together with Carolina Crescentini on the Sanremo 2023 stage on the evening of Friday 17 February – seems to know no limits. What we do know is that the filming of Sea Out 4 begin in May and will affect various locations between Naples and the surrounding areas. The debut will take place – except for schedule slips – during 2024 on Rai and RaiPlay.

The creator Cristiana Farina also admitted that she already has the stories in mind for the fifth and sixth seasons of the series and that she has started writing them while waiting for the official ok from Rai. Difficult that the public service wants to put an expiration date on sea out, a series with a strong identity and which has shown that it can renew its cast without disaffecting its audience. The fictional stories will continue as long as the public wants to continue following them.

The cast of the series includes Carolina Crescentini, Carmine Recano, Lucrezia Guidone, Nicolas Maupas, Massimiliano Caiazzo, Vincenzo Ferrera, Antonio De Matteo, Anna Ammirati and with Valentina Romani. The series – born from an idea by Cristiana Farina, and written by the latter with Maurizio Careddu – is a Rai Fiction and Picomedia co-production. The latter is the company that made Everything Needs Salvation for Netflix. Ivan Silvestrini is directing the twelve episodes that make up the third season.
