Sea Out it is a successful fiction that has been able to arouse great interest especially in the young audience. It all happened very quickly, so much so that in just two years from their debut, Rai Fiction and Picomedia managed to get to a third round of episodes, which were made available in preview on RaiPlay.
The new episodes of Sea Out now they also land in the regular mass aired on Rai2 in prime time, at 21:20 on Wednesday 15 February. We met the protagonists asking them what was the moment of this long journey that they manage to isolate and frame as the most significant. In the third season of Sea Out the protagonists have grown up and many of them find themselves having to make the choice of how to face their role as adults in the world. The discovery of love is the route that leads them to discover new aspects of themselves. Continents hitherto unexplored. Some of them will find themselves lost because of this unknown emotion, while someone else will experience this feeling as if it were a beacon in the night and will be guided by his dazzling light. New characters will enter the IPM, such as Giulia, a Trapper belonging to a Milanese gang. Or the Di Meo brothers who, together with Dobermann, a non-EU black friend, enter prison for having devastated a hospital.
Mare Fuori: the success of the episodes previewed on RaiPlay
There were 8 million views (for a total of three million five hundred thousand hours of viewing) on RaiPlay just 24 hours after the launch of the first six episodes of the third season of Sea Out. A performance with which Rai set a record. The series is in fact the most watched title ever in the Auditel perimeter, on the first day of availability on a digital platform in our country. The digital data also show how the success of the Rai TV series is determined by the younger targets: half of the viewers who saw Sea Out on RaiPlay he is in fact less than 25 years old. There were also three hundred thousand new subscriptions to RaiPlay which, thanks to the series, triples the time spent enjoying its contents and obtains a 75% market share, doubling the views compared to the previous day. For the first episode alone, over one million devices were connected during the course of the day.
