Ted Lasso is the beloved TV series, created by Bill Lawrence, dedicated to behind the scenes of the world of football. The co-creator of Scrubs has stamped his signature on another hugely successful show that is making audiences fall in love with it. The TV series with Jason Sudeikis turned out to be one of the best TV series on Apple TV + and in two seasons it has collected awards. Now fans, after the big finale of season 2, were eagerly awaiting the new episodes. Last month, the first photo of the new season was released featuring Nate as the villain of the series and it was anticipated that Ted Lasso 3 would arrive in the spring. Up to this moment, however, the release date of the new season had not yet been revealed.
Apple TV+ has finally released the teaser trailer for Ted Lasso 3 and announced when the new season will arrive.
Starting March 15, 2023, new episodes of the series starring Jason Sudeikis will be released weekly on the Apple TV+ streaming platform. In the first teaser trailer released by the streaming giant on social media, we can see Roy, Jamie, Rebecca, Keeley, Sam, Isaac, Dani and Higgins making their own “Believe” signs, complete with glitter, stickers and cookie crumbs. At the end of the video Ted Lasso and coach Beard enter the AFC Richmond locker room ready to face a new season that will be full of emotions. Apple TV+ has also released the synopsis of Ted Lasso 3:
“In the 12-episode third season of Ted Lasso, newly promoted AFC Richmond face a new journey, as media forecasts see them as their last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the ‘wunderkind’, has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. Following Nate’s controversial departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) becomes an assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, as Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, continues to struggle with his personal issues at home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert, and Keeley (Juno Temple) becomes the head of public relations. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is still ready to give it their all.“
