The long-awaited trailer for The Flash is finally available. In the clip, the return of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck and the debut of Supergirl. Space then for two versions of Barry Allen and the fearsome General Zod.
As anticipated in recent days from the arrival of the official posterthe expected trailer di The Flash was shown during Super Bowl 2023 night. Since that time, it has been shared on the Warner Bros. social media channels and on those dedicated to the cinecomic – in full version. The trailer, already viewed by millions of fans, contains many advances and hoped for confirmations, sanctioning the return of numerous heroes – and their “variants”.

The Flashwhich will arrive at the cinema with the arduous task of reset the entire DC Universe, therefore sees the return of some historical faces. As can be seen from the trailer, Barry Allen will in fact try to travel through time – using super speed – to prevent the death of his mother, then arriving in a “reality” in which the untimely death of the woman never happened. Traveling in the MultiverseHowever, Barry confuses numerous timelines, even compromising their future. A gimmick already used recently in Spider-Man: No Way Home of Marvel and thus allowing the incursion of characters from different eras and realities of the layered world based on DC comics.
Although some rumors had confirmed the elimination of some cameos, the trailer confirms it instead presence not only of Batman the Ben Affleck – but also the return, in a fundamental role, of Batman at Michael Keaton. Space then for the debut of Supergirl (sasha street), which however belongs to a different reality from that of the Flash of the “DC Universe” and therefore is probably destined not to return. James Gunn, in fact, is looking for a new interpreter for “his of him” Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The clip presents then well two versions of Barry Allenable – mysteriously – to coexist and collaborate and the General Zod (Michael Shannon), archenemy of Superman and one of the main villain of theDC universe founded by Zack Snyder. The much talked about presence of another Batman – that of George Clooney – was instead denied by James Gunn himself. According to some rumors, however, a third variant of the Caped Crusader is destined to appear in The Flash. Ezra Millerplayed by Barry Allen\Flash, will therefore be the protagonist of a complex and stratified film, ready to become the first step in a long journey. James Gunn e Peter Safran are in fact extremely convinced that the star can get back on track – after the numerous legal and health problems of last year – and become one of the foundational characters of their DC Universe. Keaton and Affleck, however, should not then return to other films. Appointment therefore at June 14thto discover the many implications of The Flash within Gunn and Safran’s plan.
