It is certainly not surprising the return of Tyler Posey as werewolf Scott McCall having been a major proponent of the return of Teen Wolf. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Tyler Posey reveals that he is delighted to return to play Scott, now older and away from the school environment, one of the protagonists of the series. “I think the thing I’m most excited about is watching them (Teen Wolf characters, ed). We have been in high school for about 10 years. I’m excited to see them getting older and out of high school. High school was a character in its own right on the show, so I’m excited to see how it’s doing without that kind of character that was high school. It will be interesting”.

Teen Wolf The Movie senza Stiles, Dylan O’Brien assente
Unfortunately one of the most loved actors of Teen Wolf (and beyond) seems not to be back in Beacon Hills for Teen Wolf: The Movie, We are talking about Dylan O’Brien. Stiles’ interpreter is not among the names appearing in the cast of the film.
“It was a difficult decision” he revealed Dylan O’Brien during an interview with Variety released in March 2022. “There was a lot at stake. The series is very dear to me. It was the first thing I did and there are so many people there that I care a lot about. It was something I always tried to make work but it all happened very quickly. We didn’t really know what was going on and they kind of threw it at us, which is fine because we all (actors) love the show. We tried to make it work.”

Teen Wolf The Movie without Arden Cho, Kira absent
The actress Arden Cho she declined to participate in the film because she was only offered half the salary offered to the other three girls in Teen Wolf (Roden, Reed and Hennig), Deadline reveals. Cho played Kira Yukimura as a guest star in season 3 of Teen Wolf and then as a regular cast member in seasons 4 and 5. The actress is the only female protagonist to have Asian origins and this difference in salary seems like discrimination against her! If that’s the case then Arden Cho was right to decline, even though we will miss Kira in the film.
Teen Wolf The Movie without Cody Christian, Theo absent
Not even Cody Christian, the interpreter of Theo Raeken in the fifth and sixth seasons, will be in the game. Why isn’t Theo here? Cody Christian has explained that his absence is due to commitments on other sets previously taken which prevented him from shooting the film Teen Wolf. “Even though the full moon and our schedules didn’t align this time around, I’m excited to see what happens in the Teen Wolf universe. It will always be a home. It will always have my chimera heart broken” he wrote on Twitter the actor last April.
