Fiorello at “VivaRai2!” commented the exultant reaction of the press room at Ultimo’s fourth place.
The 73rd edition of the Sanremo Festival decreed the victory of Marco Mengoni who in the final challenged four other singers including Last which placed in the Top Five ranking at fourth place.
On the net it became immediately the video went viral of the press room of the Festival which cheered on the placement of the Roman singer-songwriter who does not seem to attract much sympathy from the press officers.
In today’s episode of Long live Rai2!, Fiorello he wanted to give his opinion on the video of the press room and on the jubilation:
“There are some things I would like to say, one thing I really didn’t like about the Festival and it concerns Ultimo. Yesterday this reaction from the press room to the announcement of Ultimo’s fourth place was circulating on the web and I didn’t understand why this joy in this room press. Ultimo made a beautiful Festival, he finished fourth, he bowed and thanked. There is this antipathy towards him, I am nobody and I want to say it from the bottom of my heart, I didn’t like this thing”
Many users also commented negatively on the journalists’ reaction, considering it inappropriate and unprofessional, and many wanted to recall the numbers of Lastfrom sales to sold outs during his last tour.
