Is titled “The choice” the twelfth and final episode of the third season of Sea Out. At the beginning of the episode we discover that Carmine (Massimiliano Caiazzo) manages to pass a ticket to Rosa (Maria Esposito) to make an appointment for the next day.
Meanwhile for Liz (Anna Ammirati) the time has come to pay the price for the help she has given to Edward (Matthew Paulillo). The latter, in the hospital, does not make any improvement as he continues to struggle between life and death. This leads Teresa e Carmela (Giovanna Sannino) to have a very hard and painful battle in the name of the boy they disputed. Right on the death of Edward hopes so Cub (Francesco Panarella), who in the meantime has big dreams of glory to take his place.
In the meantime, the shocking news arrives about the mother of Kubra (Kyshan Wilson): She was hit by a car in the middle of the night. The girl is speechless, but what shocks her even more is the discovery that there was a story between her mother and Beppe, and that he is her father.
New clashes also between Cardiotrap (Dominic Cuomo) e Giulia (Clara Soccini) accused of having stolen the piece written by him. Right after Carmine he walks out of the facility to meet his mother. It arrives at that same time Don Salvatore pre take Rosa. The two boys look at each other without saying a word. At this point Carmine is no longer able to keep the secret and tells his mother all the feelings he has for that girl, Curly Rose.

Thus we come to the final scenes of Sea Out 3 season. Philip is finally free to leave the IPM forever. Thus we see him retracing that long corridor for the last time before getting into the car with his mother. Before leaving, however, the boy has one last thing to do. Thus we find him sitting at the piano in Toledo station. Suddenly Naditza joins him and silently sits down next to her and begins to play with him. The two are thrilled to be reunited and – holding hands – rush towards their new life together.
In the meantime Carmine e Rosa they make an appointment; this is where Carmine finally tells her “I love you”. The two kiss but are interrupted by her father, who accuses her of being like her mother: he is unable to hide her feelings. Her father tells Rosa to choose her: either her family or her Carmine, and – handing her a gun – urges her to shoot the person she cares least about. “Tarantella, you are not like that” Carmine tells her when Rosa aims the gun at her father, persuading her not to commit such an atrocious act.

Rosa’s father approaches her and tries to take the gun from her hand, but in the meantime Rosa has reached the point of no return. That crossroads put her in trouble and she no longer knows how to get out of it. Rosa tries to bring the gun towards her face – apparently to shoot herself in the head and commit suicide – and at that moment, you understand her intentions, both Carmine and Rosa’s father throw themselves in her direction.
What happens next it is not clear. The camera moves behind a brick pillar, blocking us from seeing what exactly is going on. The shouts of the trio are heard – that is, of Carmine, the father of Rosa and Rosa who are shouting – and then the roar of a shot.
We don’t see who fired and above all who was hit by the bullet. Who died? Meanwhile, in the hospital, Edoardo suddenly opens his eyes. The third season ends on this unexpected scene Sea Out. To find out more we just have to wait patiently there fourth season.
