Waiting for Fast X, the tenth chapter of the most discussed saga ever, Vin Diesel is already thinking about the next film and would like Robert Downey Jr. in the cast.

Over the years the franchise of Fast & Furious has welcomed some of Hollywood’s most famous actors into its ranks: from Charlize Theron to Dwayne Johnson, from Helen Mirren to Gal Gadot, up to Jason Momoa. Apparently there would be another important name that Vin Diesel would like to include in the cast: Robert Downey Jr.
Interviewed on the red carpet for the Fast X trailer premiere, Vin Diesel provided a tasty preview of the future of the saga: “Without giving too much away about what’s going to happen in the future, there’s a character who’s the antithesis of Dom, who promotes artificial intelligence and driverless cars and a philosophy that with that goes freedom. A mindset in stark contrast to that of Dom Toretto”.

Vin Diesel has openly mentioned the name of Robert Downey Jr., however, failing to reveal whether or not he had already proposed the part to the Oscar-winning actor.
Meanwhile, anticipation is growing for Fast X, the new chapter in the automotive saga helmed by Transporter director Louis Leterrier, who took the job after Justin Lin abruptly exited the project due to creative differences. The film is written by Lin and Dan Mazeau, with Lin still producing.
Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang and Scott Eastwood will reprise their respective roles in the film. The tenth chapter will also include newcomers Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, Brie Larson and Alan Ritchson, with Momoa expected to play the antagonist.
