The project will be the eleventh film, counting Accidental Love, in the career of the acclaimed filmmaker who recently made Amsterdam.
In the film Super Toys, Sacha Baron Cohen and Keke Palmer will play two representatives of a toy company who in the 70s find themselves on a mission to save themselves, their marriage and their twelve-year-old daughter, while traveling across America.
David O. Russell will write and direct the film, which will be presented at the European Film Market in Berlin in the coming days.
Palmer recently starred in No, directed by Jordan Peele, while Cohen will next star in Disclaimer, a series created by Alfonso Cuaron and also starring Cate Blanchett.
