Harrison Ford reveals his favorite roles and they are the ones we'd expect

It may surprise you to know the films and roles that Harrison Ford prefers among all those played in his career. There are undervalued stocks that are particularly dear to him.

Harrison Ford he turned 80 last year and is an actor who, during his long career, which began with small film and television roles in the 1960s, has played many, so to speak, iconic characters, starting with Indiana Jones and Han Solo, but not only, and even high quality movies like Witness – The Witness Of Peter Weirfor which was nominated for an Oscar. The Hollywood Reporter asked him which ones he was most satisfied with. Typically to a question like this the actors answer that they don’t have a favorite or that they have difficulty choosing, but Ford has indicated his names without problems and perhaps some will be surprised.

So he replied Harrison Ford in the Hollywood Reporter profile of his proudest roles: “I’m proud of 42: The True Story of an American Legend and K-19, where I played the captain of a Russian submarine. But I really think they are good films, that’s why I’m proud of them. Every film has its destiny and I don’t go back to thinking about it and analyzing the experience”. If you don’t remember these movies (especially the first one it’s likely to be like this), 42 came out in 2013, was directed by Brian Helgeland and played in the lead role by the late Chadwick Boseman. It was a sports biopic that told the story of Jackie Robinson, the first black athlete to play in Major League Baseball. Ford played the owner of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Branch Riley, fundamental in breaking the racial barrier by signing the player with the 42 jersey, the great Robinson. The second film however, K-19was released in 2002, directed by Kathryn Bigelow and it was a box office fiasco: it is the story of an accident that occurred to a Russian nuclear-powered submarine during the Cold War. In addition to Ford there is in the cast Liam Neeson. Surely two important films for the actor’s career but not the first ones we would have thought of when asked which of his works he was most proud of. But Harrison Ford – we should know by now – is certainly not the type to give answers for granted.
