Rick and Morty has so far been in the balance due to all the events related to the co-creator of the animated series Justin Roilandbut there’s finally good news for the rest of the show’s team: according to a new report the show still has plans to go beyond its seventh season – currently in progress. Following the news they see Roiland accused of domestic violenceAdult Swim announced that it would be cutting ties with the co-creator, and would still be moving forward with new episodes.
In addition to the seventh season, it has been confirmed that Rick and Morty will continue with another 70 episodes.
It’s certainly refreshing to know that the animated series will return with more seasons, but there are currently no updates on the potential release of the seventh chapter yet. It was previously slated for a potential launch this year, but it’s not yet known if the behind-the-scenes changes will affect the debut date.
