The series with Sarah Shahi will return in March. Will Billie be able to keep husband and lover?
We won’t judge you if you forgot. True, last time Sex/Life he had caused a lot of talk about himself, for certain rather pushed scenes and certain incredibly long “scene elements”, but it has been two and a half years since almost nothing has been known about him. Something has started to move in the past few hours, when Netflix announced that the second season of the erotic drama with Sarah Shahi will be available in streaming from March 2, and for the occasion it has also released the first trailer.
Sex/Life: Where we were
Inspired by BB Easton’s memoir Sex DiarySex/Life follows Shahi as Billie Connelly, a wife and mother who, tired of her boring life in the suburbs with her loving and reliable husband (Mike Vogel), starts writing a diary of her hot nights with her sexy boyfriend (Adam Demos) from the time she lived in New York and was a rebellious and unrestrained girl.
Since you may not remember it anymore, the first season ended with the reconciliation between Billie, regretted having betrayed her marital vows, and her husband Cooper. Billie had deleted her diary about Bred and started a new one about her marriage and family, but not long after, feeling suffocated again, she had rushed to Bred in New York, proposing that they become lovers. We don’t know what Bred’s reaction was (or at least we didn’t know before the trailer), but we did see part of the reaction from Cooper, who had activated tracking on his wife’s phone. Or call his attractive boss, Francesca (Li Jun Li).
Sex/Life 2: The new additions to the cast
Season 2 of Sex/Life will introduce several new characters played by Wallis Day (Batwoman), Darius Homayoun (Succession), Cleo Anthony (She’s Gotta Have It), Craig Bierko (UnREAL) e Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black). The details, apart from the names – respectively Gigi, Majid, Kam, Mick and Spencer – have not yet been disclosed.
