The countdown has begun for new episodes of The Mandalorian: The third season of the series set in the Star Wars universe will debut on Disney+ on March 1st.
The Mandalorianthe live-action original series from Lucasfilm and set in the universe of Star Wars, has become a real cultural phenomenon in recent years, bringing back a franchise that was starting to creak in the cinema. Exactly one month after the release of the third season on Disney+coming on 1st marchthe video streaming service has released a new official key art it’s a special featurette which explores the success of the series that has managed to win the hearts of viewers around the world.
The new featurette, which you see above, allows us to find out together with the showrunner Jon Favreauto executive producers Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa and to many others, such as The Mandalorian and the fan-favorite character of Grogu have managed to engage millions of viewers, both loyal fans of Star Wars what new enthusiasts. The stakes then got higher when viewers were reunited with an old acquaintance at the end of Season 2, Luke Skywalker himself (Mark Hamill) come to the rescue to take Grogu under his wing.
The Mandalorian: The previews of the third season
In the third season of The Mandalorian the journeys of the Mandalorian continue (Peter Pascal) in the galaxy of Star Wars. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu and races aboard his N-1 Naboo starfighter towards Mandalore, seeking redemption after his past transgressions. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to rid the galaxy of its dark past.
The cast and directors of the new episodes
The Mandalorian and his little friend will meet old allies and new trusted travel companions. In the past we had already met the Gunsmith and the leader Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), but the actors will also return in the new episodes Carl Weathers (interpreter of Greef Karga), Amy Sedaris (Peli Motto) e Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon). Tra i directors of the eight episodes of the third season are Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.
