The Blacklist 11 will not be there, the tenth season will be the last
There will not be The Blacklist 11. The upcoming tenth season – starting Sunday February 26 on the American network NBC – will also be the last for the TV series starring James Spader as the Machiavellian Raymond Reddington. The show will bid farewell to its loyal audience not before breaking one last record. During the tenth season, in fact, the 200th episode of the series will be broadcast. The final cycle is expected during the year on Sky Investigation in absolute premiere.
“After ten years, hundreds of cases of Blacklist and more than 200 episodes produced, we are honored to come to our conclusionsaid showrunner and executive producer John Eisendrath, who added: “it was incredibly fun to create the weird, devious and delightful Blacklisters who challenge Raymond Reddington and our FBI task force every week. We’d like to thank everyone at NBC and Sony, our amazing crew who accomplish the impossible every day, our endlessly inventive writers and producers, and our amazing cast who brought these characters to life. We appreciate our fans who have accompanied us on this wonderful journey and are thrilled to share this final season with them”.
The conclusion of The Blacklist surprises few people. The exit from the scene of Jon Bokenkamp dates back to June 2021, the creator of the series who was succeeded by Eisendrath in the role of showrunner. At the end of the eighth season, Megan Boone, female co-star of the series in the role of Liz Keen, also left the scene.
