Better late than never. Exactly seven months after the release of the first season, news finally arrives of the renewal of Terminal List a Prime Video. The action thriller based on Jack Carr’s bestseller of the same name, with Chris Pratt as Navy SEAL James Reece, he will return for a second cycle of episodes. It’s not all. Second Deadlinethe streaming service is working with the creator David DiGilio and the actor Taylor Kitsch the development of a spin-off prequel centered on the character played in the series by the latter, Ben Edwards.
Terminal List: A Ben Edwards Prequel Coming?
While the critics have not been very kind to Terminal List, the series was among the most watched titles on Prime Video in 2022, also reaching number two in the weekly Nielsen Top 10. Conversations about the second season have been going on for months and it seems that the idea to expand the series with a prequel has come from Pratt, also executive producer of the adaptation.
The spin-off, not yet confirmed by Amazon, is said to be a spy thriller about Ben’s journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the true dark side of war and the human cost that comes with it. The production team includes, in addition to DiGilio and Kitsch, most of the producers and writers behind Terminal Listincluded Jack Carr, Antoine Fuqual’ex Army Ranger Max Adams e l’ex Navy SEAL Jared ShawPratt’s longtime coach.
