John B. and his friends aren’t going to stay on an island that’s heaven on earth forever, of course. A new dangerous adventure awaits them. Outer Banks come back upstairs Netflix with the third season il February 23rd and, as seen in the Italian official trailer just released by the streaming video service, the protagonists will be engaged in a new adventure even in El Dorado, the legendary city of gold.
Outer Banks: The official plot of the third season
It’s been a year and a half since we last saw the Pogues, and season 2 had concluded with John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), Kiara (Madison Bailey), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss) e Cleo (Carlacia Grant) who were shipwrecked on a remote island. According to Netflix, in the third season we find them on a desert island after losing their gold and fleeing the Outer Banks. For a moment what they officially call “Poguelandia” seems like an idyllic place to live and the new inhabitants spend their days fishing, swimming and enjoying the carefree lifestyle of their temporary home. But things quickly turn ugly when John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ and Cleo find themselves again involved in a treasure hunt and literally have to flee for their lives.
The previews
The trailer teases many gods twists which we will see in the new episodes of Outer Banks: John B. reunited with his father, previously believed dead, Sarah calling for help from an unlikely ally. And, if it’s not a mirage, Kiara and JJ kissing? The boys are penniless and far from home, with no one to trust, and must contend with revenge-hungry Ward and Rafe, and a ruthless Caribbean criminal who will stop at nothing to find the loot. Is the treasure really within their reach or is it a trap to stop them once and for all? Either way, the Pogues have to fight against the world and the only way to do it is to stick together.
