It’s not all. The episode’s soundtrack includes a hit song by Linda Ronstadt, Long, Long Time from 1970, as well as a cover of the same sung by the characters of Offerman and Bartlett. “Between 11pm and midnight on Sunday, January 29, there was an over 4900% increase in US streams of Long, Long Time by Linda Ronstadt,” the profile revealed Twitter of the Spotify music service.
Something similar happened last year with Kate Bush’s classic Running Up That Hill (Deal with God)which went viral after a key moment in the fourth season of the Netflix series Stranger Things, also allowing the song to be known by the new generations. Which is probably also happening with Long, Long Time.
