Giorgio, a relative of the hotel owner who lives in an isolated cabin is carrying a wounded survivor of the helicopter crash that flew over the valley the day before. In rushing him to the hotel to be entrusted to Claudia’s care, everyone learns that the helicopter that was supposed to rescue them has crashed. In the meantime Giovanni, fearing being discovered, works to hide the traces that could incriminate him. Meanwhile, the survivor is in desperate conditions and only has time to whisper two mysterious words in Russian before dying: konets-veta.

In doing so, they cause a short circuit that seriously puts Elena’s life at risk. While Marco is busy repairing the generator, Claudia and Giovanni try to recover equipment capable of saving Elena in a crumbling warehouse. The roof of the warehouse is about to hit Claudia when Giovanni intervenes and saves her. The two find themselves very close and Giovanni is surprised by himself. But at dawn when they go out, ready to leave, Marco finds Max lying on the ground with his throat cut.
