Fire Country is no longer aired on Rai 2
Fire Country is no longer broadcast on Rai 2. The already renewed great success of the 2022/2023 television season for the American network CBS – which has been fond of the genre of procedural – lasted only three episodes on the second public service network before disappearing from the schedule.
Starting Sunday January 29, indeed, Fire Country it is no longer aired on Rai 2. Those who expected to follow episode 4 of the TV series on the heroic deeds of Cal Fire will be disappointed; in fact, after the airing of the unreleased fourth episode of season 14 of NCIS: Los Angeles, on Rai 2 it will no longer be broadcast Fire Country.
In its place comes, a few months after its US airing, the thirteenth season of Blue Bloods. The detective series with Tom Selleck is back on air after a few weeks on Rai 2, since the twelfth season ended – in our country – only on 14 January.

Because Fire Country is it no longer on air? The explanation, when it comes to television, must (almost) always be sought in the ratings. Evidently Rai 2 was not satisfied with the reception of the Italian public towards the novelty Fire Country, and here he relies on a great classic that is certainly much better known – and familiar – to Rai subscribers.
When and where we will revisit Fire Country? Probably the rest of the first season will be burned (excuse the pun) in the late evening schedule of Rai 2, perhaps in the summer months, downgraded to the Rai 4 schedule or – alternatively – it could be uploaded in full on RaiPlay.
Blue Bloods 13 on Rai 2 instead of Fire Country from 29 January
The episode that inaugurates the new programming of Rai 2 from Sunday 29 January 2023 is the first of season 13 of Blue Bloods, on air – in absolute premiere – starting at 21.50. Entitled “Good intentions”, the episode opens with the department that finds itself facing a major crisis.
The police, whose hands are tied by countless regulations, are increasingly frowned upon by citizens, and many exasperated and frustrated police officers quit their jobs. Frank, following Roosevelt’s example, decides to go and touch the unease in the streets and asks Archbishop Kearns to accompany him on a night tour.
