Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and Jane the Virgin actor Justin Baldoni will star in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel It Ends With Us.
A romantic film with Blake Lively e Justin Baldoni? Where do you sign? In reality, agreements have already been made for the two actors, according to Variety, which announces them as protagonists of It Ends With Usfilm adaptation of the homonymous novel by Colleen Hoover.
The interpreters of Serena van der Woodsen and Rafael Solano will soon share the screen, this time as “a girl from a small town, Lily, who will move to Boston in search of a new beginning, and the neurosurgeon Riley, with whom she will immediately strike the spark” reads the synopsis of the book published by Sperling & Kupfer.

The film, in development for Sony Pictures, will see Justin Baldoni not only as the protagonist, but also as director and executive producer (we had already seen him several times in this capacity, for example for A Un Meter da Te and Clouds, as well as and for an episode of Jane The Virgin), and Blake Lively among other producers along with author Colleen Hoover.
The screenplay, however, will be entrusted to Christy Hall (I Am Not Okay With This).
