The writer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania told a few more details about MODOK, revealing that he had a lot of fun making it.

One of the most anticipated characters of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania it is without a doubt frog. Comic book fans know perfectly well his potential and what he is capable of. Jeff Lovenessscreenwriter of the film, anticipated a few more details about this character, revealing what he is amused to put it in the story.
During a recent interview with SFX, Jeff Loveness told what it was like working on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and specifically on MODOK. His very name already says a lot (MODOK means Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing), anticipating all its narrative potential. In telling it, in fact, Jeff defined it “a real loose cannon”: “MODOK is perhaps one of my favorite things in the film. Of course we are very faithful to the comics in design and look, but there is also something more than the version you know, something new that we wanted to include Maybe I’ll be fired from The Kang Dynasty when people know, but some of my favorite moments in history are related to MODOK and its dynamics.”
Furthermore, always based on his statements, it seems that the MODOK of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be similar to that of the comics, even if perhaps a little more fragile: “He’s a real loose cannon and I had a great time with him. It was the first day in the room (where they wrote) – we played MODOK as a character and the movie became so funny.”
